Core Metering Technology

Ambient temperature and pressure shifts cause liquid ammonia to expand or flash into gas, which makes basic volumetric mechanical meters highly inefficient and unreliable. Our trucks and transfer skids use Coriolis mass flow technology that measures actual mass, not volume, so what you are billed for is what you actually received.

How it works

Our process

  1. 01

    Meter setup

    The metering skid is connected inline with the transfer hose and zeroed before flow starts.

  2. 02

    Compensation

    Temperature and pressure inputs are applied so readings reflect true mass, not apparent volume.

  3. 03

    Live monitoring

    Mass flow, density and totals are watched throughout the transfer for phase changes or restrictions.

  4. 04

    Totalize

    The transfer total is captured at shut-off and recorded on a ticket.

  5. 05

    Documentation

    You receive measured quantities and calibration references for your compliance and billing file.
